Compared with the old version, the new version of the standard has changed greatly, removing stability requirements, increasing the requirements for water color fastness of textile accessories, and increasing the durability requirements for straw (mouth) bites.

1. Plastic drinking water mouth cups produced on or after April 1, 2022 can be controlled according to the requirements of the new version QB/T 4049-2021 “Plastic drinking water mouth cups”.
2. Although the hygiene requirements of the new version of QB/T4049-2021 “Plastic Drinking Water Mouth Cup” have been removed, the products still need to meet the relevant requirements of the GB 4806 series of standards for food contact materials.
3. When implementing the new version of the standard, it is recommended that enterprises send tests in time to adjust product quality requirements.
